Our story
Life changed our plan. It didn't end our story.
In October 2024, a staph infection in Dave's spine changed the trajectory of our lives in ways we never could have imagined. Recovery hasn't been a straight line. There have been good days, setbacks, unexpected complications and moments when progress was hard to see. But we kept showing up.
That season taught our family not to dismiss something just because the path toward it is difficult or uncertain. It's why we started What's Next Clark: to help people and families through life's biggest changes. What's Next Clark is the heart of our mission.
DACCK Co. is the engine I'm building to fund that mission, through our marketing agency and our e-commerce businesses. I build and run them, and I'm not doing it alone. Experienced mentors, coaches and specialists bring knowledge and perspective to everything we build. Dave's focus is his health and recovery. His role is to believe in this vision and remind us why it matters to our family and the community we hope to serve.
"She didn't give up on me, and I know she'll bring that same heart and determination to what she's building."
Dave Clark
Our long-term vision is big: to build what could someday become the Walmart of medical equipment, accessibility products and everyday supplies for people and families navigating illness, disability, aging and recovery. From where we're starting, that may sound impossible. We know it will take time, the path will change, and we'll make mistakes and learn as we grow. But every customer we serve, every client we help and every lesson we learn moves us closer.
Sometimes life changes the plan without asking your permission.
But that doesn't mean your story is over.
Sometimes it means you're being called to build something even bigger.
